The $14.3M Investment Will Lead to 34 New Jobs in St. Louis
Anheuser-Busch Employees’ Credit Union (ABECU) is expanding in St. Louis and will open a new corporate headquarters at 423 Lynch Street. The $14.3 million investment will lead to 34 new jobs.
ABECU will redevelop a vacant building prior to its move. The credit union has 29 branches nationwide and approximately 400 total employees, including 250 locally.
“We are so glad ABECU has chosen St. Louis for its new national headquarters,” St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson said. “We are excited about this project because it will turn a vacant building into a functional and productive space. Several good-paying jobs will be retained and others will be created.”
ABECU offers a wide variety of products and services, from free checking to home loans to online and mobile access. It is an independent financial institution and owned/operated by its membership. The credit union is not a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc., or any of its affiliates.
