The St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, Greater St. Louis, Inc., and the Boeing St. Louis team (collectively, referred to as the Partnership”) are partnering on certain community improvement initiatives in the City of Kinloch, Missouri. To help with these efforts to clean up and revitalize the City of Kinloch, Boeing St. Louis provided a grant in the amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) to Greater St. Louis Inc. (the “Grant”). The Grant will be used to remove debris and waste, prevent re-dumping, and maintain cleared sites within the city limits of Kinloch, Missouri. Oversight and administration of the Grant is being provided by the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership.
Scope of Services
The Partnership seeks qualified and experienced contractors to perform vegetation, brush, and overgrowth clearing along designated public streets and rights-of-way (the “Services”). The purpose of this project is to enhance safety, visibility, cleanliness, and accessibility within the city by removing unmanaged vegetation, tall weeds, small trees, and associated debris. The Services must be completed between October 30 and November 30.
Project Scope
The selected contractor(s) will be responsible for:
• Clearing and removing all overgrown brush, tall grass, weeds, vines, unmanaged vegetation, and small saplings.
• Cutting vegetation to a height consistent with city standards and accepted industry practices.
• Clearing sidewalks, easements, and street edges of encroaching vegetation to ensure full accessibility.
• Removing all debris generated by the clearing process, including branches, cut vegetation, and litter embedded within growth.
• Hauling and disposing of all debris at an approved disposal facility in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Preventing damage to public infrastructure, including curbs, sidewalks, signage, utilities, and adjacent private property.
• Establishing and maintaining safe work zones, including implementing traffic control measures when necessary.
• Performing all work in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
