HOK Named a St. Louis Mosaic Ambassador Company

Hok named 30th St. Louis Mosaic Project ambassador company.

The St. Louis Mosaic Project has added HOK, a global design, architecture, engineering and planning firm, as the 30th Mosaic Ambassador Company. HOK is a Gold Level Ambassador.

“HOK is a champion of diversity and inclusion, and they are amplifying their welcoming efforts by becoming a Gold Level Mosaic Ambassador Company,” said Betsy Cohen, executive director of the St. Louis Mosaic Project.

Managed by the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, the Mosaic Project aims to promote regional prosperity through innovation, inclusion and immigration. Ambassador companies take part in volunteer opportunities that support international communities, spread awareness, participate in events including the Professional Connector Program and International Mentoring Program, and commit to sponsoring at least one employee toward an H1-B visa or similar visa sponsorship.

“A commitment to opportunity has always been a hallmark of HOK,” said Stacy Krell, senior human resources manager in St. Louis. “The different backgrounds of our people in 24 offices worldwide broaden our vision and feed our strengths. We’re looking forward to collaborating with the Mosaic Project to continue building a diverse, vibrant workforce in St. Louis and across the globe.”

HOK designs buildings and spaces that respond to the needs of people and the environment. HOK designers are rooted in technical excellence, driven by imagination and focused on a solitary goal: to deliver solutions that inspire clients and communities. More: hok.com
