Kevin Cahill, vice president of strategic initiatives for St. Louis Economic Development Partnership (STL Partnership), recently wrote an article in St. Louis Small Business Monthly about how business incubators can be the right fit for St. Louis startup companies looking to grow.

The article discussed benefits that business incubators offer, such as lower rent costs, mentorship and training opportunities that are available, as well as how incubators help regions from an economic standpoint.

STL Partnership’s multiple business incubators—West County Business Incubator in Chesterfield, the agtech-centric Helix Center in Creve Coeur and incubators in Lemay and Wellston—have seen many startups graduate to larger commercial spaces opening up space in the incubators for new businesses, which has been beneficial to the region.
