Artur Express shares their story of success and working with the STL Partnership

Despite the pandemic, Artur Express, LLC continues to thrive. Artur Express, LLC is a full-truckload carrier located in Hazelwood Missouri. The company has been operating since 1998 and has been growing steadily ever since. With over 750 trucks, Artur Express provides transportation service to all 48 states in the continental US.
Artur Express, LLC has a major advantage over most of their competitors by offering excellent service, new equipment, an outstanding computer system, the ability to drop trailers, and the ability to handle local, regional and long haul lanes 365 days a year.
Artur Express, LLC also worked with the STL Partnership Business Finance Department to secure an SBA 504 Loan to grow their business. “We have expanded our workforce accordingly and created many good relationships with St. Louis based customers, thanks to the the STL Partnership,” said Artur Wagrodski, President of Artur Express, LLC.

The company was originally started by Artur Wagrodski in 1998. Tom Tokarczyk joined the company in 2001 when the company had 20 trucks. Artur grew up around truck drivers and loved the industry. Now the company is experiencing substantial growth. “In 2020, we opened our brand new world headquarters in Hazelwood, MO,” said Wagrodski. “We built this facility to give our drivers access to amenities like showers, laundry, fitness center, BBQ grills so they can relax during their breaks before hitting America’s highways delivering much-needed supplies to the country.”
In December 2020 the company also opened their international office in Rzeszow, Poland to continue expansion and growth. “In 2021, we plan to continue our steady growth by adding more employees and contractors as well as building new partnerships with customers in St Louis and around the country, ” said Artur.
Artur Express, LLC is excited for their growth and offers advice to other businesses during COVID-19. “Do research and apply for available grants for PPE and other funding,” said Wagrodski. “Listen to your employees, be flexible if you can, set your expectations and create policies.”
