STL Bucket List leadership, foreign-born food entrepreneurs speak at Mosaic Project event

The St. Louis Mosaic Project, a regional initiative managed by World Trade St. Louis and St. Louis Economic Development Partnership (STL Partnership), hosted its last STL 101 event of 2026 on Oct. 13. The theme for the event was St. Louis’ international food scene.

Among the speakers at the event were STL Bucket List Founder Lucas Farrell and its CEO Brittany Dwyer, who shared insights on how international cuisine influences St. Louis’ identity. STL Bucket List is a media outlet that focuses on the people, local businesses, food culture and events that define the identity of St. Louis.

Two local, foreign-born food entrepreneurs also attended the event and shared their stories of how they brought their authentic flavors to the St. Louis region. One was Satish Kumar, founder of House of India, which has been in business for more than 30 years in University City, Mo. Kumar was joined by Tassia Vicentin Rezende, founder of Tre Cuori, a gelato restaurant in Ellisville, Mo.

STL 101 is a series of networking and educational events, hosted by the Mosaic Project, that connect native St. Louisans, newcomers and international community members. For more information, click here.
