Mosaic Project Participates in Fiesta at Cortex
Organization educates attendees about STL Para Ti
In Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Fiesta at Cortex was held on Oct. 7 at the Cortex Innovation Community in St. Louis City. The Fiesta featured a small business showcase, cultural displays, food, dancing and music. At the event, the St. Louis Mosaic Project (Mosaic Project), a regional initiative managed by World Trade Center St. Louis and St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, was in attendance educating attendees about STL Para Ti.
STL Para Ti is a bilingual online resource, created by the Mosaic Project, to support Latinos in St. Louis by providing information about jobs, English classes, small business support, events and more.
Latinos are crucial to St. Louis’ future. 4% of the St. Louis population are Latino/Hispanic, a population that has grown by 22% since 2013. The population increased by 14% between 2022 and 2023 alone. Approximately 8,800 small businesses throughout the St. Louis region are Hispanic-owned.
