AgTech Day in Missouri
STL Partnership’s Janet Wilding, VP of 39North and Major Projects was part of a group of AgTech leaders who attended a hearing for the Missouri House Economic Development Committee in Columbia, MO. The Hearing, hosted by the St. Louis Regional Chamber, was a chance for legislators, like chairman Rep. Derek Grier to learn more about the AgTech industry and to find out how legislators can help the industry grow.
Wilding was joined by a panel of industry experts including Karla Roeber, Danforth Plant Science Center; James Forbes, co-founder of Tiger Fiber; Connie Bowen, executive director and co-founder of Yield Lab; Shibu Jose, associate dean of the College of Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources (CAFNR) at the University of Missouri – Columbia; and Richard Norris, director of the Center for Plant and Life Sciences (CPLS) at St. Louis Community College (STLCC).
