Jessica Cooke, owner of Yuppy Puppy Pet Spa, was named Small Business Person of the Year by the SBA St. Louis District Office.
The Small Business Administration-St. Louis District Office recently awarded Jessica Cooke, owner of Yuppy Puppy Pet Spa, as the 2023 Small Business Person of the Year.
“Being named Small Business Person of the Year means so much to me,” said Jessica. “This is my 20th year in the business and I’m still as excited as opening day.”
Yuppy Puppy Pet Spa, located in O’Fallon and Cottleville, MO, is a luxury state of the art boarding, grooming, training and day camp facility designed for pets. The company also serves as a recuse/adoption facility for orphaned dogs to have a second chance.
In 2022, the pet spa purchased property in Cottleville, MO for a second location. Yuppy Puppy received a loan totaling $3,167,360 from the help of St. Louis Economic Development Partnership (STL Partnership) and the Bank of Washington.
