St. Louis Mosaic Project Invites Community to Take Part in Mosaic Stories
Video series set to re-launch during Welcoming Week, Sept. 12-21
Welcoming Week, which is Sept. 12 through 21, is an opportunity for organizations and individuals to highlight their welcoming values through events and initiatives that foster connections between immigrants and non-immigrants. With Welcoming Week approaching, the St. Louis Mosaic Project, a regional initiative within the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership and the World Trade Center St. Louis, invites the community to help them re-launch Mosaic Stories, a monthly video series that brings together the voices of St. Louis natives and foreign-born immigrants to celebrate diversity, connection and shared experiences.
Anyone who is interested in being featured in the video series, can contact the Mosaic Project here.
As part of Welcoming Week, the St. Louis Mosaic Project will host a special edition of STL 101 on Sept. 16 at 5 p.m. at the Missouri History Museum, located at 5700 Lindell Boulevard in St. Louis. Whether a lifelong resident, a newcomer to the region, or somewhere in between, this evening is designed to connect people with the rich and surprising story of St. Louis.
