World Trade Center – St. Louis (WTC) invites proposals from qualified consultants with technical familiarity of the export/import process to promote awareness of Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) #102 across St. Louis County, St. Charles County, and the City of St. Louis. This initiative seeks to enhance and drive utilization of FTZ benefits, execute targeted advertising, administer feasibility study subsidies for prospective operators, and ensure FTZ #102 operating documents are up to date with modern standards.
Background
World Trade Center St. Louis manages FTZ #102 on behalf of the St. Louis County Port Authority. In response to changing international trade conditions, WTC is launching a two-year promotion effort to inform local exporters/importers about potential FTZ #102 cost-saving opportunities such as duty deferral, reduction, or elimination, along with streamlined customs procedures.
Program Term: Two (2) years from contract execution
Geographic Scope: primarily focused on the FTZ Alternate Site Framework (ASF) areas of St. Louis County, St. Charles County, and the City of St. Louis. Attention to other metro St. Louis counties (Missouri only) also required.
Scope of Work
The selected contractor(s) will deliver a comprehensive effort (the “Services”) to increase awareness and adoption of FTZ #102, provide general export/import guidance to companies, and ensure FTZ documentation is current.
