Expansion expected to create approximately 100 new jobs

Procter & Gamble Manufacturing Co. (P&G) opened its new $180 million expansion in North St. Louis on Friday, Sept. 13. The property improvements and new equipment from this investment are expected to bring 100 new jobs to the facility with an average salary of $65,000 as well as retain 530 existing jobs.

“We are very proud to have played a role in seeing this project come to fruition,” said Michelle Stuckey, vice president of business development for St. Louis Economic Development Partnership (STL Partnership). “P&G has long been instrumental in the St. Louis economy and can continue to be with these improvements.”

P&G worked with STL Partnership, the City of St. Louis, the St. Louis Port Authority, St. Louis Development Corporation and the Missouri Department of Economic Development for more than a year regarding incentives for the project before it was approved in 2022. New additions to the expansion on the 17-acre campus include a gym and a cafeteria to focus on the wellbeing of employees.
