Artur Express to expand business capabilities in St. Louis

Artur Express, a national transportation and logistics business based in Hazelwood, Mo., recently secured funding to expand its capabilities, according to a report from the St. Louis Business Journal.

TAB Bank of Ogden, Utah, arranged a $30 million asset-backed lending facility with Artur Express, which is one of the region’s largest private companies. Artur Express will use these funds to invest in fleet and equipment, strengthen logistics and brokerage operations and expand the driver experience and support programs.

Artur Express came to St. Louis Economic Development Partnership (STL Partnership) in 2020 in search for a loan to move from Bridgeton, Mo. to the company’s current headquarters in Hazelwood. Artur Express received a $5 million U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loan, the maximum amount a 504 loan can be, from STL Partnership’s Business Finance Division. The overall project cost was $12.3 million.
