On Sept. 29, Jason Archer, vice president of business development at St. Louis Economic Development Partnership (STL Partnership), participated in a panel discussion at the 2nd Annual Industrial Readiness Summit at Conflux in St. Louis City. Hosted by Conflux Co-Learning, a community for industrial companies, the panel discussion focused on state and local resources that are available for companies to use.

Joining Archer on the panel were Taylor Mazdra, regional manager of St. Louis for the Missouri Department of Economic Development, and Sarah Jacobs, senior director of business growth at Greater St. Louis, Inc. Among the highlights of the discussion were why companies looking to grow should reach out early, the benefits of meeting with the Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Committee as well as state and local programs that are available for assistance.

Archer highlighted the Chapter 100 abatement process and the benefits of meeting with World Trade Center St. Louis to discuss exports and foreign trade zones.
