All things agtech virtual networking session
The UK Department for International Trade, The Missouri Partnership, 39 North, World Trade Center St. Louis and Agri-TechE hosted a virtual networking event focused on all things agtech. Agtech and agribusiness ecosystem leader companies discussed business abroad as well as transatlantic collaborations.
“By leading this virtual mission, we leveraged local industry knowledge, not only to promote St. Louis agtech, but also to learn best practices from key industry leaders in the UK that might ultimately lead to new market opportunities for St. Louis companies,” said Tim Nowak, Executive Director of World Trade Center St. Louis. “This is a story of two communities working together in an industry important to both with, what we believe, are positive lessons that can be applied across the globe.”
They also focused on:
- The work and goals of this burgeoning global collaboration
- Action oriented networking including virtual pitch sessions and/or curated one-on-one meetings
- Access to global market opportunities for early-stage companies in both communities
- Insight from recent business success stories
