St. Louis in the top 10 regions for job growth

According to U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, the St. Louis Metro has officially become a top metro for job growth. Beating out cities like Chicago and Austin, St. Louis’ workforce has grown to nearly 1.5 million this year. This put St. Louis in the country’s top 10 regions for job growth. The industries in particular to thank for this increase include the leisure and hospitality industry and the tech industry.  With around 4,000 new people added to its workforce, Madison County had the highest growth numbers in the metro. Even more jobs are expected to arrive as more and more investment opportunities are announced in St. Louis.
