BRE Committee Tours Gateway Studios
Chesterfield rehearsal facility has hosted top tier entertainment
On Oct. 21, members of the Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) Committee toured Gateway Studios & Production Services (GSPS), a rehearsal facility in Chesterfield, Mo., that is now the largest of its kind in the U.S. Since opening in May of 2025, GSPS has hosted some of the biggest names in the music and entertainment industries, including Bad Bunny, Usher, Chris Brown, Goose, Slayer, Shinedown and many others before going on national tours.
The committee toured the 300,000-square-foot rehearsal facility that features three spaces for rehearsals, dressing rooms, production offices, dining rooms and outdoor space that is available to the entertainment acts and crews. These spaces are designed for large-scale production rehearsals and creative development. The three rehearsal spaces vary in size with Studio 80 being the largest at 100 yards (or 300’), the size of a football field.
The BRE Committee includes representatives from STL Partnership, WTC, St. Louis Mosaic Project, St. Louis Development Corporation, Greater St. Louis, Inc., the Missouri Department of Economic Development, Spire, Ameren, St. Louis County Workforce and the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment.
