Agenda included roundtable discussion at World Trade Center St. Louis

David Kerich, Kenya’s ambassador to the U.S., recently visited St. Louis to serve as the keynote speaker for Vitendo4Africa’s annual gala, which occurred on Nov. 1. Vitendo4Africa is a nonprofit organization that works to empower communities through educational and outreach programs in Missouri and in Africa.

During Kerich’s visit to St. Louis, he participated in a roundtable discussion at World Trade Center St. Louis (WTC). WTC is working with officials in Kenya on an upcoming trade mission to Africa in 2026.

He also toured several key locations around the region, including the Saint Louis Art Museum, local African-owned businesses, St. Louis Mayor Cara Spencer’s office, and the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center

The goal of Kerich’s visit was to strengthen connections between St. Louis and Kenya as Africa is an up-and-coming market for St. Louis.
