St. Louis Foreign Trade Zone #102

Businesses in St. Louis County and the City of St. Louis who regularly import goods may find relief from duties and tariffs by using a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ). Products in a FTZ can receive deferred, reduced, and/or waived fees.

An FTZ is a program through the federal government to encourage international trade, increase exports, and help U.S. businesses compete globally. FTZs are designated areas where users may import goods with minimized duties for warehousing or production purposes. Goods in an FTZ may be assembled, cleaned, displayed, repaired, tested, relabeled, repackaged, stored, or destroyed.
