STL Partnership BRE Team Hosts Tour of Gateway South
New construction hub to be first of its kind
The Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) team at STL Partnership recently toured the Gateway South development at one of its monthly BRE Partners meetings. Gateway South is a mixed-use redevelopment plan that will revitalize the Downtown St. Louis riverfront and turn it into a hub for the design and construction industry.
Gateway South will be the first-ever geographic hub for this sector with the goal of merging logistics, talent and technology to improve productivity nationally. This new district will streamline offsite manufacturing-style building production, enable adoption of new materials and digital technologies, as well as attract and train a new generation of the construction workforce.
These monthly meetings are attended by representatives of Greater St. Louis Inc., Ameren Missouri, STL Partnership, Missouri Small Business Development Centers, Missouri Department of Economic Development, St. Louis Development Corporation, Spire, St. Louis Mosaic Project and World Trade Center St. Louis.
The BRE team of STL Partnership links St. Louis companies with government and economic development officials to ensure business owners, leaders and entrepreneurs know who to contact regarding opportunities or challenges.
