Accenture Federal Services (AFS) Opening Advanced Technology Center in St. Louis
Accenture Federal Services (AFS) announced Tuesday (6/23/2020) that it is opening a new St. Louis facility as an expansion of the AFS Advanced Technology Center providing custom digital, cloud, automation, artificial intelligence and cyber solutions to federal government agencies. This move will bring 1,400 highly skilled technology jobs over the next 5 years to St. Louis; 200 new jobs in 2020. John Goodman, CEO of AFS, said that with St. Louis’ skilled workforce, vibrant technology ecosystem and community commitment to collaboration between government, civic, business, academic and community partners, AFS will fit nicely in the region.

AllianceSTL worked with four partners on this deal. St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, Missouri Partnership, Missouri Department of Economic Development and Ameren Missouri all worked diligently to make sure AFS’s needs were addressed and met.
St. Louis County Executive Dr. Sam Page said that AFS chose well opening their new facility in St. Louis.
“The (St. Louis) region is consistently ranked as one of the top places for people to launch a career,” Page said. “St. Louis is filled with makers, doers, builders, and especially those who want to make a difference.”
AFS is committed to advancing inclusion and diversity in workplaces, communities and the country. Because of this, STL Partnership’s CEO and President Rodney Crim said that the region will benefit from having AFS in St. Louis.
