St. Louis-based agtech startup NewLeaf Symbiotics has raised $22 million in a recently closed Series D financing.
Based at BRDG Park at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center campus, NewLeaf develops and commercializes products that include beneficial plant microbes. The company’s technology is designed to boost crop nutrition and yield. More than 300,000 acres of corn and soybeans were planted this year with its products, according to NewLeaf.
