8 women recognized during Tribute to Women Business Leaders Brunch

Annie Mbale, program manager for World Trade Center St. Louis (WTC) and St. Louis Mosaic Project, was recently honored by the Missouri Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA). On March 29, the MBDA hosted the 2025 Tribute to Women Business Leaders Brunch at the Marriott-St. Louis Grand Hotel.

Mbale was one of eight women who were honored at the event that recognized the extraordinary accomplishments of women who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, innovation and dedication to their respective fields. Mbale was chosen for her work connecting small business owners and entrepreneurs who are foreign-born to vital resources and mentors to foster growth and success.
