LCRA Issues RFPs for Wellston Properties

Organization seeking proposals for Wellston, Plymouth Industrial Parks

St. LOUIS (Oct. 11, 2024) – The Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority (LCRA) of the County of St. Louis, managed by the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership (STL Partnership), has issued requests for proposals (RFPs) for Wellston Industrial Park and Plymouth Industrial Park in the suburb of Wellston, Mo. Proposals for the properties, located at 1335 Ogden and 6440 Page Avenue, respectively, will be due by December 13.

“We are thrilled the LCRA is moving forward with redeveloping these properties in Wellston,” said Rodney Crim, CEO and president of STL Partnership. “The great city of Wellston has advanced under the leadership of Mayor Griffin, and we are excited to see these industrial parks become redeveloped and continue that momentum.”

The RFPs are calling for developers to redevelop and purchase the property from the LCRA. Plymouth Industrial Park consists of approximately 15 acres of land, while Wellston Industrial Park is just over 28 acres.

The properties are in close proximity to the business districts in Clayton and University City, plus St. Louis Lambert International Airport. They are also within walking distance to the Wellston Metrolink station, the Wellston Business Incubator and an early childcare center. Amenities such as St. Vincent Greenway Trail and the abundance of restaurants in the University City Delmar Loop are near the properties, as well as the campus of Washington University.
