The Project is funded in part by a federal grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration. This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is a solicitation from the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership (the “Partnership” or “Owner”) for proposals from qualified firms in connection with the renovation of the Helix Center (the “Project”), located at 1100 Corporate Square Drive, Creve Coeur, MO 63132 (the “Project Site”). The Partnership is a not-for-profit economic development organization responsible for creating high quality business and employment opportunities for long-term diversified growth throughout St. Louis County, St. Louis City, and the St. Louis region.
The Project generally consists of the west lobby renovation; Growth Farm renovations and HVAC improvements; relocating specific electrical equipment to a new electrical room; HVAC additions for the new electrical room; limited first floor finishes; two (2) dry labs and five (5) labs with sinks on the second floor; new boiler pipe insulation; repairs to RTU1; removal and replacement of RTU2; a new loading/unloading area; vestibule door hardware improvements; and exterior improvements associated with the Growth Farm HVAC equipment. The Project site will continue operations during the Project in “As-Is” condition, and all prospective bidders are required to visit the site. Please note, however, that site access will be restricted to the date and time provided herein. No additional opportunities to view the Project site will be provided except as set forth herein. The selected company shall be responsible for, and shall bear all risks associated with, any conditions which that are observed or are reasonably capable of observation pursuant to a thorough inspection of the Project site prior to the submission of their bid, and any conditions of which the prospective bidder is aware, or should be aware, based on its review of any and all materials made available by the Owner. The Project is funded in part by a grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration.
