In April, Secretary Castro was in St. Louis to announce the U.S. Promise Zone designation. The classification means preferential access to federal agencies and programs, and new resources to improve job training, education, healthcare, law enforcement and crime prevention.

I am working to improve the region’s most economically disadvantaged areas. HUD’s assistance will have an enormous impact on our community. Many thanks to Secretary Castro and his administration for their commitment to St. Louis County.
