On Monday, November 27, 2017 from 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., St. Louis County, the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership and the St. Louis County Port Authority will host a public open house regarding the Jamestown Mall site. The open house will be held in the atrium of the Detrick Building on the campus of Christian Hospital Northeast, 11133 Dunn Road, St. Louis, MO 63136. The purpose is to share information, discuss the site and seek your input. You are welcome to stop by anytime. There will be no formal presentation.
The open house follows the Port Authority’s recent announcement that it has contracted to purchase the final two parcels of the mall, which will give it control of the entire mall site. Now St. Louis County’s focus is moving to redevelopment. Currently, hazardous waste and other materials are being cleared from the Jamestown site preparing it for demolition. The next step is to prepare a Request for Proposals (RFP) for developers. But first, we want to hear from you.
