St. Louis County is looking to achieve certification as an ACT Inc., Certified Work Ready Community. The third-party verification process — by ACT Inc. — measures the skills of each community’s workforce.
A job seeker with documented skills reduces company cost for hiring, speeds up training, lowers turnover and improves the quality of new hires. Those signs point to more productive organizations.
Employers are encouraged to register by clicking here. Signing up does not legally bind a company or require it to hire certified applicants, but does show evidence of supporting this program.
St. Louis County and the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership thank employers for their participation. The certification will lead to better economic and workforce development in the region.
