“How do we grow the population of St. Louis?” asks award-winning radio journalist Debbie Monterrey of KMOX. Betsy Cohen, executive director of the St. Louis Mosaic Project, goes into great detail on how her organization, since its inception, has worked to bring together St. Louis-area expats, grow the foreign-born population and make the region an inclusive and welcoming place for all living in St. Louis. Mosaic Project’s programming and initiatives are extensive and have gained traction and recognition from both the press and leadership at major local organizations.

It’s also no secret that Betsy’s work has gained her much individual praise, as she’s won several regional awards for her noteworthy projects and collaborations. One of the key new goals of St. Louis Mosaic Project is to grow the international and foreign-born population by 25,000 by the year 2025.
