United States Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue is the guest of honor at the event.

Benson Hill Grand Opening Benson Hill has officially moved from STL Partnership’s Helix Center and opened their new headquarters within the 39 North district in St. Louis. Benson Hill’s headquarters combines food science, data science and plant biology under one roof, which allows for seamless collaboration across functional teams, further spurring innovation and their ability to move food forward with both speed and impact. By bringing together leading scientists, agronomists and data engineers under one roof, Benson Hill can accelerate innovation to unlock new solutions that benefit breeders, farmers and food companies of all kinds.
Sonny Perdue, United States Secretary of Agriculture and guest of honor at the opening, said he’s excited about the future of Benson Hill and the value it provides both consumers and farmers/growers.
“I’m intrigued by what Benson Hill is doing to link production and consumption in a transparent way,” said Secretary Perdue.

An in-person ag-innovation discussion with Secretary Perdue, Matt Crisp, CEO, Benson Hill, Leslie Bonci, MPH, RDN, CSSD, LDN, Sports Dietitian to the Kansas City Chiefs, and John Jansen, Vice President, Oil Strategy, United Soybean Board commenced focusing on highlighting the USDA’s Agriculture Innovation Agenda (AIA) and how new technology advancements, from companies like Benson Hill, will align consumer demand with farmer activities, along with the power of partnerships to drive the future of food.
