What is EB-5?
The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is a federal immigration program to encourage foreign investment in the U.S. economy. Congress created the EB-5 Program in 1990 to stimulate the US economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors. To qualify, foreign investors must invest a minimum of $800,000 or $1,050,000, dependent on location, in a new commercial enterprise and create or save 10 US jobs in return for permanent residency, also known as a green card.
