ESRI Site Visit

On September 3rd, the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership’s (STL Partnership) Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) team met with Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI). The meeting was an opportunity to tour ESRI offices in the St. Louis Globe Building and learn more about ESRI. Discussions included the history and workforce of ESRI, ESRI’s global work in GIS software and ESRI’s future growth plans in St. Louis.

ESRI is a multinational geographic information system software company that specializes in GIS software, location intelligence, and mapping. Their St. Louis offices are one of 49 worldwide ESRI locations.

Other BRE partners that took part in the tour included Greater St. Louis Inc., Ameren Missouri, Missouri Small Business Development Centers, Missouri Department of Economic Development, St. Louis Development Corporation, Spire, St. Louis Mosaic Project and World Trade Center St. Louis.

The STL Partnership BRE team works to connect St. Louis companies with government and economic development officials. This ensures business owners, leaders and entrepreneurs will know who to reach out to regarding opportunities or challenges. The BRE team’s mission is to ease access between these partners.
